Web Page design for Eric Marks Marketing Communications

Situation: Client first refreshed his website in 2002 and now for a second time to reflect a new clean and enhanced graphical look. The quality of work produced for clients is shown in the sample material.

Developed a new graphical layout and homepage; added new imagery for sample pages in thumbnail and large images; and new site navigation. Advised the client in Search Engine Optimization and provided hosting services for his existing Domain name.

Result: Website saves Eric time and resources in mailing samples to new prospective customers. He can provide instant reference samples for a client's immediate review.

Background:  Freelance writer Eric Marks has 35 years of business-to-business experience writing and editing compelling copy for brochures, sales support and technical literature, newsletters, proposals, direct mail, news releases, advertisements, and more.

This testimonial was written on June 26, 2006. Eric passed away on October 1, 2006. Eric was an excellent client for over four years and a friendship preceded through our association with NJ Creatives Network. Eric volunteered as NJCN's Publicity Director for two years.

You couldn't ask for a better Web guy than Stan Cohen.

Well, okay . . . you could ask, but you wouldn't get one. Stan takes the worry out of having no idea how all that Web stuff gets done. You don't get glitches, aggravating technical screw-ups or bewildering error messages. Stan builds it, Stan designs it, and it works.

Well, I told a fib . . . just a little. Occasionally you might have a technical problem. I did. Once. In something like three years. It turned out to be caused not by my computer, not by Stan's or the ISP, it turned out to be my e-mail ISP. Diagnosing it took a frustrating 90 minutes. How many Web guys could you call on an otherwise busy afternoon, who would stop what they were doing and devote the next 90 minutes to figuring out a problem that wasn't his fault? Or yours?

It's sort of like that with design, too. Tell Stan what kind of look you'd like and what comes back is what you were thinking. Only better. I mean, if you could design your own Web site, why would you need a guy like Stan, right? Well, take a look at the difference between MY design and STAN's, and you'll see what I mean.

If Stan were a restaurant, a reviewer might end a review with "heartily recommended." But Stan's not a restaurant . though he does provide some delicious ideas, and some very nourishing support.
