Situation:
Alecia Blake's has a variety of specialties including fashion, children's
portraits and cartoons. She needed to update her image, gain new clients with an
online presence of her won and a new website was the way to show her talent
off with an extensive online portfolio. Result: The website presents
Alecia's varied styles within a uniform presentation framework. The website is easy to
navigate and sequence through the sample pages, in a clean and uncluttered
airy environment without unnecessary frills to detract from the Illustrator's work.
Background: Alecia Blake is an illustrator-artist who
incorporates expressive, fluid lines and vibrant colors into her wide
stylistic range. Her work includes loose, flowing fashion art,
children’s book illustrations and whimsical and humorous greeting card
artwork. She utilizes mixed media such as pen and ink, gouache, and also
works in pastels and acrylic paint.
Stan, thank you for making my concept for a new website a
reality. The way you integrated all of my varied styles of artwork into
a cohesive layout is terrific. I think it has a unique, flowing feel to
it.
